pax was born in israel and emigrated to the us when she was 12. her style is ‘intellectually complicit appropriationist’ and she enjoys credit for no less than two ex-situ ‘banksy’ pieces that have been sold to private buyers. she is a supporter of the dubious provenance project 🤣, and routinely tags others’ work for this reason, and as a compliment.

pax and jake met on a bench in washington square park. jake was working on a website and pax was working on art. in that moment, we realized that we were trying to solve the same problem from different angles, so we decided to work together.

people are tired of demanding, moral injury, petitions. there are enough of those, even though we could use more. people are tired of peaceful protests that ultimately fail to help people in need, even though we can use more of those, too.

so this is our plan. art. activism. action. ☮️ and fun.
